This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Packard was a manufacturer that began in the early 20th century, and was known as a major luxury passenger car manufacturer. Approximately 16,000 of the 1941 Clipper were produced; at that time, due to the ware situation in the United States, many Clippers were delivered to the military and used mainly as passenger cars for senior officers. The Clipper became the favored vehicle of General Dwight Eisenhower, commander of the war against Germany, and General Douglas MacArthur, commander of the war against Japan.
This kit from Roden comes with decals for three versions: Black no. 55, used by General Douglas MacArthur in the summer and autumn of 1945; C/n 127038, used by General Dwight Eisenhower in late 1942, and C/n 19422122, currently on display in the Ohio Classic Car Museum. Order yours today!
