The VAB is a wheeled armored personnel carrier deployed and operated by France since 1976. It comes in both a four-wheel four-wheel-drive type and a six-wheel six-wheel-drive type. It can accommodate a crew of one driver and one machine gunner, and the infantry compartment can carry 10 fully armed infantry. Initially equipped with a straight-six diesel engine from Germany's MAN, it switched to a turbocharged straight-six diesel engine from Renault in 1983. In addition to ground travel, it can also navigate on water, equipped with two water jets at the rear. It is armed with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun M2. Besides the French Army, it has been adopted by Morocco, Norway, and others. It is also in service in Ukraine.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit reproducing the French wheeled armored personnel carrier, VAB. The model represents the four-wheel type. With 265 parts, the finished model has a length of 171mm and a width of 72mm. Including new parts, it reproduces the type used by the Ukrainian military. The body is accurately modeled with upper and lower divisions, and the underside of the body realistically reproduces mechanisms such as front and rear suspension and drive shafts. The upper part of the body and the sides feature detailed details, including hatches, creating a dense finish. Additionally, a vehicle-mounted machine gun is included on the top of the body. The interior of the vehicle is faithfully reproduced, from the driver's seat to the interior of the infantry compartment. The rear hatch can be opened or closed, allowing a thorough display of the interior reproduction. Four types of markings are included for you to choose from and assemble.
