This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
One of the many self-propelled artillery developed and operated by the German Army during World War II is the Sd.Kfz.138/1. It is known by the nickname "Grille." The H type is the first production type, and the chassis uses the H-type chassis of the 38(t) tank. It has an open-top battle room, and is equipped with a 15cm heavy infantry gun, sIG33, in the center of the vehicle. The sIG33 heavy infantry gun was formalized in 1933, and was a howitzer used until the end of the war to support infantry units. The battle room is surrounded by 2.5cm-thick armor plate on the front and 1.5cm-thick armor on the sides and rear; its crew consisted of a driver, a commander, a gunner, and two loaders, for a total of five people. It started production in February 1943; it's said that more than 350 were produced by September 1944, including the prototypes.
This model kit from Dragon features a Japanese-language manual and Japanese packaging produced by MONO! Magic Tracks are included for ease of assembly; the upper part of the hull is loaded with detail in the battle room's interior, including the shell rack, spare shells, communication equipment and more, creating a dense finish. Aluminum parts for the barrel are included. PLace your order today!
