This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Panzer IV fought as a central vehicle among the German tanks of World War II. One of its many variations featured a fixed battle compartment, and a powerful 48-caliber 7.5cm gun was mounted at that location. The popular name of the Formark body is "Lang," but a vehicle made by Arquette was also made, which was known as the Zweischen Raisunk ("provisional specfication"). Vehicles based on the IV J-type body were produced from 1944 to the end of the war in 1945, and it is said that 278 of this type were produced. It was characterized by adopting a design in which the battle compartment was raised compared to the Lang, to ensure the clearance of the main gun. They fought bravely until the end of the war against the Allied forces.
This model kit from Dragon reproduces the final production type of the L/70 (A), equipped with a long-barreled 7.5cm gun produced by Arquette. The raised battle room is reproduced with integral parts using a slide mold, which accurately expresses its distinctive style. Aluminum parts are included for the long gun barrel; rifling is expressed inside the barrel, and the texture of the aluminum enhances the sense of reality. The lower part of the hull reproduces the details on the sides and undersides, and prefabricated Magic Tracks are included. The undercarriage is three-dimensional for accuracy; in addition, metal parts and photo-etched parts are included for the wire mesh type of Schulzen. Five tank soldier figures are included too!
