The Ford Torino was sold from 1968 to 1976. The main model was a four-door sedan, but the lineup also included two-door hardtops and fastback models. It was also used as a muscle car and a base vehicle in motorsports. In 1969, a model called the Cobra with a two-door sports roof (fastback) was introduced. It was equipped with a 7-liter 4-valve V-type 8-cylinder engine called the Cobra Jet, gaining popularity due to its high performance.
