Team Penske driver Joey Logano will pay homage to NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Bobby Allison during the 2020 running of the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Logano's Shell/Pennzoil throwback Ford Mustang will feature a design that honors the Miller American livery piloted by Allison during the 1985, 1986, and 1987 NASCAR Cup Series seasons. Allison picked up two of his 84 victories driving the No. 22 with the star on its sides during that period. Logano will be looking to score his first Southern 500 victory, which would put him on the path to catch Allison's four wins in the historic event including one with the Penske organization.
