This is a die-cast metal, plastic or resin display car model.
The Camel Trophy is the world's toughest adventure race, held from 1980 to 2000. Not only was the speed of the vehicle important -- various tasks such as snorkeling and rafting also had to be cleared. There was no prize money or awards involved. There were many situations where teams would cooperate to win, and so when you win the Camel Trophy, you've done so with honor and cross-border friendship.
This completed die-cast display model is of a Land Rover that competed in the 1985 Camel Trophy, as seen in the Borneo leg, with an appropriately grubby paint job reflecting the rough roads in the region. Get it for your own collection today!
