Two types of JR 1500 diesel cars are now available!

JR Shikoku's 1500 diesel cars have been in service since 2006.

This model is an environmentally friendly car that emits much less nitrogen oxide (NOx) in its exhaust gas than conventional cars.

The 1500 is also barrier-free, with wheelchair-accessible restrooms and a smaller difference in height between the train's boarding gate and the station platform.

The exterior of the train is designed with an eco-conscious green color scheme, and the "SHIKOKU" or "ECO" logo is placed on the side of the train.

The same type was manufactured from 2006 to 2014 up to the 8th car, and is currently in operation on the Kotoku Line, Tokushima Line, Muki Line, and Naruto Line.

There are many variations of the same type, but this time we will commercialize the 2nd and 3rd cars from among them.

Please enjoy them together with the Type 1000 and TOMIX Series 2700 that will go on sale ahead of this time.

We recommend TM-16 (20.5m class A) for the power unit and TT-04R for the running parts set.
