This is a racing car model kit assembled from parts made of resin, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials.
Here comes Model Factory Hiro's superb multi-media kit of the legendary Porsche 917LH-71! This is Version C, as the #18 car appeared in the 1971 Sarthe 24-hour race #with P. Rodoriguez and J. Oliver.

This model is based on the 1971 Sarthe 24 hour race specification. This kit will be fully detailed and in the 1/12 big scale.
This is a multi-material kit. Of course the 4.9L engine, the cockpit, and other details like the suspensions are made of white metal. Other parts are made of polyurethane, lathe-cut metals, photo etch sheet, PVC vacuum-shaped windows, rubber tires, silkscreen printed decal sheet, and various pipes and cords. With the totally different design from formula machines, for you to feel the most advanced mechanics technologies in the ’70s.
The rear cowl and both doors are movable. The front bonnet hatch is detachable, letting you see the interior structures. The front and rear light lens use the scaled mold from the real cars and use special high transparency resin to form the most realistic light lens. The tire house is using FRP coloring half transparent resin.
