This is a racing car model kit assembled from parts made of resin, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials.
A truly stunning kit of this classic Ferrari racer from Model Factory Hiro. Due to FIA regulations regarding production, Ferrari was unable to enter the car in the GT class, but had to offer the 32 cars that were built to private teams and be raced as a prototype. But that didn't stop the car from winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965, as well as placing 3rd and 6th. This would prove to be Ferrari's last overall win at Le Mans. This version of the kit includes the markings for car #21, which was the race winner.
A multi-material masterpiece, the main body parts are formed from a urethane, and it also includes white metal, machined metal (wheel trim, wheel shafts, engine funnels and other parts), photo-etched, rubber and other metal parts as well as the decals. Wheels are fully spoked (requiring assembly) but perfectly replicate the actual car's rims. The hood, doors and rear engine cover can be opened and closed after assembly.
