This kit from Italeri allows you to know the awesomeness of the 8C 2300, which has been a shining highlight of Alfa Romeo's history for 110 years! The 8C 2300 was originally announced by Alfa Romeo in April of 1931. It was designed by the famed Bitrio Yano, and was equipped with an all-aluminum in-line 8-cylinder DOHC engine. It had a displacement of 2336cc and had a roots-type supercharger. A total of 188 units were produced between 1931 and 1934. This car has won numerous races around the world, including participating in Grand Prix races with their fenders and lights removed. It was far superior to the machines turned out by rival makers at the time, and the 8C 2300 is one of the most indispensable machines in all of Alfa Romeo's history.

This kit is a big 1/12-scale, reproducing the road version produced between 1931 and 1933. Its mechanisms are duplicated in high detail with more than 300 parts, from the chassis frame to the engine. The detailed louvers on the hood can be opened and closed after assembly, as can the hood itself, and the in-line 8-cylinder DOHC engine is precisely reproduced. Auxiliary equipment such as the roots-type supercharger are also accurately modeled, as are details such as the fenders for the front and rear tires, front headlights, spare tires attached to the sides, and the windshield.
