Senior Sergeant Chris Kyle was dispatched to the Iraq War a total of four times, beginning in 2003 until his discharge in 2009; he was known as a legendary sniper. He was dispatched to all the most intense battlefields, especially Ramadi, Iraq, where he helped protect the U.S. Marine Corps fighting there, sniping a large number of enemy fighters. The Iraqi insurgents nicknamed him "The Devil of Ramadi." After his discharge, he organized and worked with an NPO to help veterans reintegrate into life after war, but he died after being shot by a veteran with PTSD.
