The Manta is a compact, multi-purpose underwater drone officially adopted by the EAE. It is primarily used for reconnaissance and surveillance in shallow and coastal waters, as well as for providing propulsion assistance to individual operatives. It features a flat, wing-like design, measuring approximately 120cm long and 130cm wide, with an overall silhouette resembling that of a manta ray; this shape offers low hydrodynamic drag and a low visual profile. Equipped with internal thrusters and rudders, it can achieve a maximum underwater speed of approximately 12 knots. Optical and sonar sensors are integrated into the "head" and wings, enabling underwater target identification, terrain mapping, and signal rely. Each Manta connects to the Sotos System, allowing for either remote control or autonomous navigation along pre-set routes. You'll receive two Mantas in the set. Order yours today!
