In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Felix The Cat's TV debut in Japan, Medicom Toy presents a surprising memorial: a 33cm-tall (nearly 13 inches!) vinyl replica of the Felix The Cat doll that was the very first image broadcast on U.S. television, back in 1928! That doll rotated on a phonograph turntable in front of the cameras of station W2XBS in New York for almost a decade as the picture was gradually refined in experimental TV broadcasts. Now that important doll of the iconic Felix has been exactingly reproduced in vinyl, under license from Felix The Cat Productions, and comes complete in a vintage-style cardboard box! A fantastic treat for fans of Felix, of 1920s character toys, or both! Please note that the photos shown are of a prototype; the production version may vary. Also, figures such as this are mass produced and as a result some inconsistencies in finish and painting may occur; these are not considered manufacturer's defects. If you absolutely must have perfection, prepare to do some touch-up work on your own.
