This is a Japanese-language book or magazine about ships and/or ship modeling.
The "Squadron at Sea" book series focuses on one of the ships and introduces them in detail, from their construction through a number of renovations, to their final state. It features a wealth of photographs that will guide you through the life of the ship -- photos of the construction process, and also lively photos from when the ship was active in the field.
This volume features the USS Arizona, a U.S. Navy battleship built as the second Pennsylvania-class battleship. She was laid down in 1914 and commissioned in 1916, and was sunk during the Battle of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1942. Her wreck currently lies beneath the USS Arizona Memorial.
Nearly 300 valuable photos are in this book, from her construction from 1914 to 1916, renovation work from 1929 to 1931, and her state immediately after the Pearl Harbor attack, as well as images of the construction of the Memorial.
Softcover, text is in English; 120 pages, 288 photos (13 in color).
