Water tank car that can be used not only with FEF steam locomotives but also with existing GS-4.
Various combinations can be developed.
FEF steam locomotive and excursion train are in a presentation box.
Water tender is in a large clear case.
FEF-3, a large passenger steam locomotive of Union Pacific Railroad, a huge American railroad company.
#844, which is preserved in working order, is currently based at Cheyenne Locomotive Depot in Wyoming and is active in pulling event trains.
The excursion train is used when running the event trains.
The train is made up of seven passenger cars that have been remodeled and preserved from the heyday of rail passenger transport in the 1950s. It is used to transport personnel and equipment necessary for operational support, and is also used as a museum car to introduce the Union Pacific Railroad, as well as a power car and a passenger car with an observation deck called a business car at the end.
Also, a water tender, a water tank car that carries water, which is essential for the operation of steam locomotives, is also included in the product.
This vehicle is essential for FEF's long-distance operation.
The popular FEF-3 #844 (black) will be joined by a new car number, #838 (active model).
The FEF-3 was used to pull passengers, but with the rise of diesel locomotives from around 1950, it was used mainly for pulling freight, and was used for the last time.
Of the FEF-3, #844 and #838 are the only two that still exist (only 844 is registered).
The matte black paint and lack of decoration recreate the powerful, brave figure of the locomotive when it was in service.
