Every detail of EVA-01's mechanical form is painstakingly sculpted and painted in deep, rich colors, as is the more organic-looking Fourth Angel and the broken cityscape that forms the base. There's even a crashed VTOL aircraft in front of EVA-01's left foot! The green areas on EVA-01 have been painted with glow-in-the-dark paint, and its eyes light up too thanks to LEDs, to give the whole scene a very eerie look!
