Lio Convoy, the legendary green lion from the anime "Transformers: Beast Wars II," finally makes its long-awaited appearance in Takara Tomy's "Transformers New Legends" lineup! The main body of this figure uses phosphorescent material to recreate its glowing green appearance as seen in the anime! Lio Convoy also transforms from its lion form to its robot form, and this figure uses the mold from the popular "40th Selection Lio Convoy," resulting in a design closer to that seen in the anime. In robot mode, the deployment of the claws and the opening and closing of the left chest to store the Energon Matrix are reproduced. In beast mode, the rotation of the mane and simultaneous missile firing are also reproduced. When Lio Convoy's body is exposed to light and then viewed in a dark place, it glows green!
