This is a posable action figure of a character from science-fiction/anime.

The Cybertron nurse Ratchet appears in Takara Tomy's "Transformers Missing Link" series -- a lineup of "Transformers" as they might have appeared when the line first started! 

Ratchet was released in the initial lineup overseas in 1984, but general sales were postponed when it was introduced domestically in 1985. At that time, the product was separated from the car into two mecha -- the robot part took on a power loader-type appearance that was significantly different form the appearance seen in the anime, and the head was reproduced with a sticker affixed to the seat through the windshield. This time, the "Missing Link" series takes on the challenge of what if Ratchet's figure had been made with a heroic concept on part with other Autobot figures at the time, and had a style more similar to the anime. 

Ratchet transforms from an ambulance-type Nissan Cherry Vanette-type one-box wagon with warning lights into a robot. The structure that uses zinc alloy in part remains the same. He transforms from a vehicle mode that closely resembles the original figure into a heroic robot mode with one-piece transformation, and in robot mode, he's super-posable! In addition, it can be transformed into a third "Respect Mode," which is based on the robot mode of figures at the time.

The spanner that appeared in the anime and the laser similar to the old toy are also included as plated parts, and the rocket launcher on the back can be attached or removed; the spanner and rocket can also be stored inside the backpack. Part of the pattern that was reproduced with stickers at the time is now reproduced with three-dimensional carving and coloring. A foil sticker is also included that you can attach as you like.
