This is a posable action figure of a character from science-fiction/anime.

Takara Tomy's "Transformers Missing Link" action-figure series is a virtual reprint of toys that might have existed in the original era! The newest entry is an anime version of Grimlock, commander of the Dinobot dinosaur army!

In 1985, the Dinobots gained popularity with their innovative concept of adding five transforming mecha-dinosaur units to the Autobot forces, which had previously been composed mainly of mecha who transformed into cars and other vehicles. Grimlock, the Dinobot commander, now appears in the "Missing Link" lineup with a completely new design and a number of additional features!

This Grimlock recreates the color scheme from the anime, and transforms from a mecha-type Tyrannosaurus into a robot. While the partially die-cast construction remains the same, both forms feature movable joints for posability. Since this Grimlock's emblem is in a different position than that of the C-12 Grimlock, the shape of his robot mode's chest has been modified to recreate this.

The included saber weapon is a red color reminsicent of the original toy and overseas comic version, and it's made of hard plastic to recreate its sharp shape. The double laser gun has been redesigned to feature the anime-style two-tone color scheme, which is different from that of the C-12 version, and the missile launcher also has a corresponding color scheme. The missiles on the missile launcher can be attached and detached. A human (worker type) figure of the same type as the one included with C-05 Sunstreaker is included, and it can ride inside the cockpit on Grimlock's back. 

A secret emblem is also attached to Grimlock's body, and when heated with your fingertip, the legion mark appears! The back of the robot form is equipped with a joint hole for a stand (sold separately) so it can be displayed in action poses. The package illustration is inspired by the original toy's packaging, and a collectible card is included too. Order Grimlock for your own collection today!
