Introducing the "Sakai Yuji Sculpt Collection," featuring the soft vinyl series produced by Yuji Sakai, with the return of 'Godzilla (2016) Form 4' as the Ortho Ver.!
This product is based on the garage kit prototype announced in 2017, inspired by Godzilla appearing in the elevated bridge scene from the trailer, which Sakai considers the coolest moment in the film.
To commemorate the release of the Blu-ray & DVD of 'Shin Godzilla: Ortho,' which was limitedly released in 2023, we are launching the "Ortho Ver." with a monochrome painting for the entire body.
Under the supervision of Yuji Sakai, the clear parts have been painted silver from the inside to express the glowing imagery of the entire body.
The image for this Godzilla (2016) Ortho Ver. was created by combining a photo taken by Sakai himself at the filming location in Kamakura's Ogi-gaya, captured from the same angle as in the film, with the 'Godzilla (2016) Form 4 Ortho Ver.'
Once again, as with the initial release, we have used a master mold created by converting Sakai's cast prototype into WAX.
The product is molded exclusively from this master mold, minimizing wear from the soft vinyl process while focusing on reproducing the details as accurately as possible.
