This is an injection-plastic kit of a science-fiction/anime item.

This non-scale plastic model of Tracy Island is beautifully-detailed, molded in colored plastic, and even comes with palm trees and undergrowth for you to arrange! If that weren't enough, also included are models of TB1, TB2, TB3, TB4, and TB5! Add to that, the whole thing is loaded with motorized gimmicks, making this one of the most fun Thunderbirds item ever produced! Little palm trees fold down as TB2 rises from its hanger. TB5 orbits gently over the island. TB4 can be stored inside the island. TB1, 2 and 3 are all spring-loaded and can be launched with the press of a button. Two gear boxes and a battery-pack/button box control all the action. The base itself is about 40cm in diameter; the individual Thunderbirds are about 5cm each. Though the parts are all molded in color, this kit should painted for accuracy and a more 'weathered' look. Some simple wiring is necessary to ensure all the gimmicks work; though the instructions are in Japanese only, they are clearly illustrated and a little patience and test-fitting will ensure that your model of Tracy Island works as well or better than the one on the show!
