After a harrowing fight on the decks of Wing Fortress, Dr. Robotnik makes a last ditch attempt to flee, and abandoned ship to fly himself to his ultimate creation: The Death Egg. Determined to not let Robotnik escape, Sonic and Tails take to the skies in Sonic's trusty bi-plane: "The Tornado." To help the plane to reach the speed that it needs, Tails has fitted the plane's fuselage with a special rocket booster. With this upgrade, Sonic and Tails are locked in a desperate race to catch up to Dr. Robotnik's escape ship, so that Sonic can put an end to his evil plans for world domination.
First 4 Figures is proud to present The Tornado Diorama: Capturing the final climactic moments as Sonic and Tails chase after Robotnik at the end of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Tails pilots the trusty red bi-plane "The Tornado" while Sonic rides the wings high above the clouds.
The entire scene is captured in high-quality polystone that has been hand-painted to capture one of the most iconic scenes in Sonic history in outstanding detail. The plane itself is also attached to the base via a pivoted joint that allows the plane to be posed and angled however the collector chooses.
