Here's a hot one from West Kenji: They've produced only 500 of this metallic-color Swing Action Mazinger Z Early Jet Scrander set, to commemorate the opening of their Toyohashi HQ and Akihabara stores! Standing 20cm (about 8 inches) tall and finished in black, pewter, and antique gold tones, soft vinyl Mazinger Z is impressively posable thanks to 20 points of articulation, and is ready for airborne action with the early version of the Jet Scrander (choose which fin you want to attach, the regular TV version or the "Z" version seen in "Mazinger Z Vs. Devilman"!). An Iron Cutter is included, along with a pair of open hands, and a removable Pilder that can be undocked and converted to Hover Pilder form. There's also a display base, and even a 1/20-scale figure of pilot Koji Kabuto, complete with a gun in his hip-holster! This all comes packaged in a window-box with a front panel that opens to reveal a neat color illustration of Mazinger Z and Koji by Kazuhiro Ochi (who's been keeping Koji and other Go Nagai creations plenty busy in his acclaimed "Dynamic Heroes" manga).
