This highly detailed model of R2-D2 is actually an alarm clock! Standing 16cm tall, R2 has four different random alarm sounds (Star Wars main title, Cantina Band, R2 voice #1, and R2 voice #2), plus you'll hear a message from Princess Leia when you turn the alarm on and R2 voice #3 when you turn it off. Not only that, but when the alarm goes off, R2 will spin frantically as R2 does when he gets excited! So be sure to have him away from objects or table edges when you set the alarm...you don't want him crashing into things or taking a dive! Digital clock face is cleverly hidden by R2's arm panel when not in use. Projector lens lights up, too! Very cool!
