This is a completed toy designed for children.
It's the 25th anniversary of Space Warp! According to the box:
"SPACEWARP" is a microcosm that you can create in your own space. It goes fast, and slowly right before your eyes. While you are laying the rails (into two lines), it'll remind you of your glorious childhood and the bright eyes you used to have. The goal waiting for you is filled with the great sense of fulfillment, and it'll heal you over the fatigue from your daily lives. It's all up to you. The infinite microcosm, that's what -SPACEWARP- is."
While we can't guarantee healing from fatigue, we're pretty sure you'll love putting this thing together and watching the ball go alternately fast and slow around the tracks (obviously it doesn't go slow and fast at the same time!). Uses some parts from Space Warp 5000. Requires one C-cell battery (not included). This kit is intended for adults due to its complexity (recommended for ages 15 and over...although it would no doubt make a great tandem project for parent and child!).
This Space Warp game appeared in the 1983 Toho film, "The Family Game." Hence the tie-in!
