Description
This is a fundamental building material for use in scratch-building or customizing models.
Plaster Cloth (Gypsum Fabric) is a fabric coated with plaster that resembles gauze.
When wet with water, it can be shaped, and it hardens as it dries.
Lightweight and easy to mold, it is a durable material, making it ideal for creating mountains and terrain on diorama bases.
The process is relatively simple and does not require any special tools or equipment.
Additionally, it is a highly versatile material that can create various shapes and textures.
How to use Plaster Cloth:
Cut it to your desired shape and size with scissors.
Soak the fabric in water or spray it with a mist of water until it becomes pliable.
Apply the damp cloth to the surface, pressing it into the desired shape while smoothing out wrinkles and bubbles.
As the plaster dries, it hardens, creating a sturdy and durable structure.
Once dry, it can be painted with acrylic or watercolor paints.
