The prototype was newly sculpted by Yuji Sakai, and he also handled the coloring and modeling. Mitsuhiko Hosokawa, who created the moving mechanisms of previous "S.H.MonsterArts" figures, has achieved movement with this figure that doesn't compromise the proportions. The new mechanism means the range of movement of the arms and head has been improved -- you can even tilt his head back to recreate the impressive pose of him watching over the sky from the film!
