About Re;Zero Starting Life in Another World

In 2016, the first season of ‘Re;Zero - Starting Life In Another World’ debuted, leaving a big impression on the anime industry and community.

The series follows protagonist Subaru as he suddenly gets transported into a mysterious fantasy world. Subaru experiences a variety of deadly encounters in the new world and learns he has an unusual ability to reset time after his death, shifting into a new reality. Subaru then vows to use this power to protect Emilia, a young woman on a journey to become the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica.

Based on an equally popular series of light novels, the Re;Zero animated series continued to unfold an epic story of love and conflict, introducing more and more unique characters over the second and third season.

10 years later, Re;Zero has remained popular throughout its run, offering exciting fantasy action, magic, romance and even comedy. For fans of the Isekai genre, it ranks highly amongst other acclaimed series, with a persistently high quality of animation from studio White Fox and memorable moments that help it to stand out.

Beyond just an anime, Re;Zero has been adapted into a range of other media such as manga, a series of video games and the continuation of the light novel series, which now has over 40 volumes.
