Description

This is a fixed-pose model of a science-fiction/anime item.

A great 25cm-tall polyurethane statue of Ultraman! This model depicts the so-called "A-Type" suit used in the first 13 episodes of the iconic original "Ultraman" 1966 TV show (B-Type lasted from episodes 14-29, followed by C-Type, finishing up the show with episodes 30-39). Faithfully sculpted to accurately capture the look of "Ol' Lumpy" as he appeared on screen (the A-Type suit featured a mask made of soft latex, as Ultraman was originally intended to speak in the show and needed jaw movement...hence the soft, lumpy look of the mask. The B- and C-Type masks were made of a hard material, and were finished to a smooth metallic sheen). Comes with a nifty cityscape base to firmly plant his silver Ultra-booties on. Also includes two sets of arms to show him standing either with fists on hips, or with arms at his sides with open hands. A great tribute piece to the original Ultraman, and a great addition to any Ultra-collection! And don't forget to check out the X Plus Baltan Seijin statue (linked below)!
