It became a pioneer of Toyota motorsports, covering 17,000 km in 19 days.
The Celica Twin Cam Turbo, a solidly designed Group B car, won three consecutive safari championships from 1984 to 1986.
It earned the title of "Safari King".
In 1998, starting with the third Safari, Toyota introduced a special livery for each rally.
The fantastic Monte Carlo, Sweden, and the cancelled Indonesia rallies are also reproduced.
