Racers Nonfiction Volume 2: The Plunging Hatch's Seven Falls and Eight Rises
Hayato Satsuma's journey into professional racing began when he became a rider. As a child in elementary school, he rode a Yamaha Mate in a field and could control it effortlessly, as if he had natural talent. Fast forward twenty years, and he found himself riding an NSR500 in the World Grand Prix.
"I started late, but I quit early," the man chuckled to himself. Initially, he aspired to become an F1 driver and make a name for himself in the city. He had planned to start with motorcycles, which required less initial investment, and then transition to four-wheel racing. However, after gaining recognition in motorcycle racing, he was thrust into the world championships. While it may have seemed like a smooth journey on the path to the elite, one day he abruptly decided to quit racing. Now, the life of a man who wholeheartedly embraced the challenge of racing is unveiled.
