This is a posable doll with real fabric clothing, designed for collectors.
This is the first Pullip doll produced in collaboration with illustrator Jun'ichi Nakahara, whose artwork was very popular with women during the early Showa era in Japan! Himawari is based on the illustration "Midori no Kaze no Uta," published in the April 1951 issue of the shoujo magazine "Himawari," celebrating its 70th anniversary! She's got the same braided black hair, apple cheeks, and shining dark eyes, not to mention her lovely, classic red gingham dress worn over a crisp white blouse with an abundance of frothy lace on the front and at its collar and cuffs. Her orange shoes match the ribbons in her hair, and of course she has a blossom-bedecked straw hat too, and sheet music to hold as well! A stand and a collector card are also included. Add this pretty miss to your doll family today!
