Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The Japanese Army's most powerful combat-capable vehicle was the Type 4 Self-Propelled Gun (Ho-Ro). It mounted a Type 38 15cm howitzer on a Type 97 medium tank chassis, and was hastily completed in 1944 as an anti-tank self-propelled gun. The prototype vehicle was immediately sent to the Philippines, where the turmoil was escalating, and formed part of the 14th Area Army's Provisional Self-Propelled Artillery Company. It exchanged fire with American tanks. Its distinctive open-top fighting compartment, large-caliber gun, and ammunition boxes placed inside and outside the chassis have been precisely reproduced.

• The interior of the hull and howitzer breech have been precisely recreated.
• The lid of each ammunition box can be displayed either open or closed; the ammunition inside the ammunition box has also been reproduced.
• The steering mechanism inside the front of the chassis has also been reproduced.
• The tracks are made of plastic and can be assembled using a glue-on system, allowing for realistic reproduction of sagging.
• Photo-etched parts are included for the muffler cover.
