The Type 64 Anti-Tank Missile (64MAT), Japan's first domestically produced anti-tank missile, uses a wired guidance system that allows the shooter to control it and target weak points even after launch. When it first appeared, it was mounted on a Type 73 light truck and deployed to division anti-tank units, and later to anti-tank platoons in infantry regiments. 

This model kit from Fine Molds recreates the 64MAT with special parts. Every detail has been precisely recreated, from the Type 73 light truck's dedicated mount, the control unit for guidance operations, and the ATM-1B missile itself. Marking decals include vehicles belonging to the Fuji Training Brigade Headquarters, the 12th Anti-Tank Unit at Camp Shinmachi, and the 1st Airborne Brigade at Camp Narashino.
