The Type 73 light truck, which saw widespread use in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, was not only used as a multi-purpose vehicle, but also as a combat vehicle when equipped with various features. One notable variation is the anti-tank version equipped with a Type 60 106mm recoilless rifle. This vehicle was primarily deployed to the anti-tank platoons of infantry companies, where it played an important role as an anti-tank weapon.

This model kit from Fine Molds reproduces the rear gate and recoilless rifle base, the extension plate above the front window, and the left side mirror as special parts. This military model is loaded with attention to detail! Marking decals are compatible with vehicles belonging to the 33rd Infantry Regiment at Camp Hisai, the 15th Infantry Regiment at Camp Zentsuji, the 11th Reconnaissance Unit at Camp Makomanai, and the Infantry Regiment at Camp Takigahara.
