1. Private Warehouse - HLJ’s Unique Storage Service

‘Private Warehouse’ is HLJ’s unique service to save money on freight costs. For decades, HLJ has had the pleasure of providing the Private Warehouse service for hobby collectors and enthusiasts across the globe. Customers can store purchased items for up to 6 months FREE and ship several items together at a time anytime they want from each private warehouse.

2. Private Warehouse Is Becoming UNLIMITED!

◆ 6 months FREE storage - Then 5JPY per CM, per month, with No Storage Limitations! ◆

Launching in October 2025, we’re excited to announce that we’re updating the Private Warehouse service to Private Warehouse UNLIMITED. We will remove the current 180 days (6 months) storage limit, allowing customers to store their items with us for an UNLIMITED period beyond the current storage period of 180 days, for just a small monthly storage fee!

3. Storage Fee After 6 months (180 days)

After 6 months of free storage, a monthly fee of 5JPY per 1cm of total dimensions (Length + Width + Height) per month will be charged - the equivalent of approximately 0.1666 Yen per cm per day.

To expand our business with a focus on providing a quality storage service for the customer, we’re making the storage fee as low cost as we possibly can. For most customers, this will mean that the storage fee per item will offer great value at a low cost compared to shipping the items individually or storing elsewhere. Of course, all your items in our Private Warehouse will be insured by HLJ.

This new unlimited Private Warehouse will activate in October 2025. We’ll notify all PW customers again of when these changes are about to take effect and if you need to do anything to prepare! For most of you, there will be no change, but we’re happy to be able to offer unlimited storage for those who need it at a low-cost and no pressure.

4. Future Service Developments

The purpose of expanding the Private Warehouse is to eventually create even more flexible services for all of our loyal customers. Services listed below are now under development and to be launched in the near future:

1) Expanding Our Storage service, even for goods not purchased at HLJ - under development

2) Customer to HLJ resale platform - (HLJ will buy new and used items from Customer) -under partial development

3) Customer To Customer ‘marketplace’ Service -under development

4) Expand Storage Space to overseas - under consideration

More details will be provided about these services in the future as their development progresses.

5. Storage Fee After 6 months (180 days)

To give even more back to the customer, we’re also resetting the clock on storage periods for everyone who currently has items stored in the Private Warehouse at the timing of 00:01 on 1st Oct. 2025 Japan Standard Time (JST). That means if you’ve got items stored right now, you don’t need to worry about running out of time, because we’ve given you all 180 days of storage completely FREE from the period starting on 1st Oct. 2025 JST!

The core premise of the Private Warehouse will stay exactly the same as it was in our new system, allowing you to store items and ship them whenever you want. For up to 180 days, your stuff will be stored completely free, allowing you to reduce shipping costs by shipping items together, instead of one at a time.

6. Making Your Storage Easier Than Ever

• We’ll still notify you of your Private Warehouse items and of relevant shipping offers, but we don’t want anyone to feel hurried to ship now that it’s unlimited, (so our Tuesday PW emails will change)!

• This new unlimited Private Warehouse will activate on October, 2025. We’ll notify all PW customers again of when these changes are about to take effect and if you need to do anything to prepare! For most of you, there will be no change, but we’re happy to be able to offer unlimited storage for those who need it at a low-cost and no pressure.

• Compared to the current system, from now on, once items arrive in your Private Warehouse, final settlement of the product will be completed, and it will become your property. We’ll store it safely for you until you’re ready to ship, and you’ll receive a storage contract for your piece of mind which details the relevant insurance information for your items.

• Items already stored in the Private Warehouse will also become the property of the customer. This will mean we can no longer accept cancellations on these items.

• From there, just ship when you’re ready! If you enter the paid storage period for any item, we’ll notify you when your payment method will start to be charged for extra storage on a monthly basis.
