The year 2026 marks the 55th anniversary of "Kamen Rider," and Bandai observes the occasion by bringing the original Cyclone bike ridden by the original Kamen Rider 1 ("Old No. 1") into their "Popynica" lineup!
The Popynica Cyclone released by Popy way back in 1973, when the "Kamen Rider" show was originally airing, was actually the "Modified Cyclone" ridden by Kamen Rider 2. In fact, a Popynica version of the original Cyclone ridden by Takeshi Hongo (Kamen Rider "Old No.1 ") had never existed -- until now! The original Cyclone that fans have long admired is finally arriving in Popynica style! Die-cast parts are used extensively throughout the model, including the front forks, wheel spokes, chassis, and the six large exhaust mufflers (three on each side) featuring the signature metallic blue finish. Its markings are beautifully reproduced with tampo printing, too!
The included Rider figure realistically recreates the color scheme of the "Old No. 1" Rider, and features an articulated head. The scarf around the neck is made of fabric with an internal wire, allowing you to pose it freely.
