The Tomica 55th Anniversary Automotive Manufacturer Collaboration Project is a dream initiative made possible with the support of five major automakers: Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and Suzuki Motor Corporation.

In this special project, professional designers from each company -who usually work on real vehicle designs- created exclusive 55th anniversary designs just for Tomica.
Each design was selected through internal competitions at the respective companies, matched to some of the most popular Tomica models.
Vehicles decorated with these special designs are also scheduled to appear at various events.
