The book also includes newly discovered materials from recent years, which have been replaced from the original editions as much as possible.

Nadia of the Mysterious Sea," which boasts popularity among a wide range of generations throughout the ages, has been released on VHS, laserdisc, DVD, and Blu-ray, each time containing interviews and precious memoirs by director Hideaki Anno and other key staff members.

This book is an "official record book" that compiles valuable interviews that were included in the booklet enclosed with each soft disk, as well as setting materials, image boards, original drawings, layouts, and other materials that were discovered for the exhibition.
