Among his many other accomplishments, Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) came up with the first known design for a machine gun! Widely considered to have been one of the most brilliant minds in history, with an impressive resume in the arts, literature, the sciences, engineering, and many other pursuits, da Vinci was also well known for his designs for war machines of all types. This is a pre-painted kit of his design for a multi-barrelled cannon--the ancestor of the modern machine gun. Assembly required.
