Ken Elefant brings back their Maneki Neko Miniature Collection! Supervised by Japan's largest maneki neko museum, this lineup consists of five types that can be said to be the roots of maneki neko. The original texture of the clay used to produce them is carefully reproduced with special painting; you'll love to display these historic examples of a beloved Japanese icon! There are five versions (plus a special lucky version!), and they're randomly packed in boxes of 12 -- place your order today!

[Lineup]:

Kutani Ware -- A traditional craft of Ishikawa prefecture, with gorgeous colors and a dignified face with small eyes. The original version in the museum is extra-large, almost 60cm tall! (4.7cm x 2.8cm)

Mikawa clay doll -- From the Nishimikawa region of Aichi prefecture, it features a large front-facing cat with large ears and eyes. The original displayed in the museum was made by Hachiro Takayama, who is a skilled puppeteer. (4cm x 2.5cm)

Imado Ware -- This is said to be the oldest beckoning cat, using clay made from the soil of the Sumida River in Tokyo. It has a "marushime" mark on its butt to bring you money and good luck! Although it was once abolished after the war, it has now been recreated by Yoshikazu Yoshida. (3.9cm x 2.5cm)

Furuseto type -- Seto City in Aichi prefecture, famous for its pottery, is the place where mass-production of maneki neko began in Japan in the late Meiji era. Made of porcelain, it has a slender body that is similar to a real cat. This version is a modest late Taisho model. (4.6cm x 2.2cm)

Tokoname type -- The Tokoname-type maneki neko was born in the mid-1940s in Tokoname City in Aichi prefecture. It features a plump body made of earthenware, large round eyes, a beard and an oval coin. (4.1cm x 2.9cm)
