Tokaji Michikuni inherited their knife crafting traditions and technology from the past 400 years, dating back to the Edo period, and now their traditionally made cutlery is among the top in Japan. Their third generation craftsmen finish each individual masterpiece by hand.

The broad-bladed "Deba" kitchen knife can cut through fish with ease, while the "Yanagi" knife can slice through sashimi (raw fish) beautifully just by a simple pulling motion that won't involve moving the blade back and forth. 

The cutlery all feature double-edged blades, so anyone can use them without worrying about their dominant hand.

(Please note that some of these knives are delicate due to their thin blades, so it's recommended to not use them on hard objects.)
