"Kaomochi" is a combination of the Japanese word for emoticon, "kaomoji," and the sweet, rice-based Japanese dessert ("mochi")! It's easy to see why: these adorable mascots look like chewy, round mochi marshmallows with kaomoji faces!
This particular mascot features an excited face that looks like it's dancing, expressed with the Japanese onomatopoeia "weii," printed on a green ball measuring about 50mm across. Stretch and squish it just like real mochi; it'll always return to its original shape!
Comes on a ball chain, and packaged in a clear-top mochi box, just like the real thing.
