This is a Japanese-language illustration (art) book.

Gorgeous illustration book featuring the art of Shotarou Ishinomori, best known for creating Cyborg 009, Kamen Rider, Kikaider, as well as many other works. This book collects Ishinomori's illustrations from an interesting series known as "JUN", published serially in the magazine "My Anime" in the early 1980's (1981-1984). The JUN series was not a comic series per se, but made up of beautiful illustrations coupled with poetry; this book contains only the illustrations, unfortunately, but they are all breathtaking, in a supremely dreamy style! Naturally illustrations from Ishinomori's other series are included as well, and all of them equally striking. All the illustrations in this hardcover volume are printed in full colour, on glossy paper; text is minimal and limited to references to the original publication of each illustration. A bonus full-colour B3 sized poster of JUN (the eponymous boy from the series) is included.
