Irokuen proudly presents its rich matcha green tea flavor warabimochi, made with the input of their own sweets-loving staff. Warabimochi is a traditional jelly-like snack from Japan, made from bracken starch -- or kudzu powder -- and topped with simple, nostalgic Japanese flavors.

Since its establishment in 1875 the prominent producer of kudzu powder, Hirohachido, has been supplying Irokuen for its sweets. Thanks to Hirohachido's dedicated handmade powder production, Irokuen's warabimochi boasts one of the most delightfully jiggly textures you'll find. Enjoy this traditional sweet with the included brown sugar syrup and sweet roasted soy flour (kinako), or just with one topping or the other -- however you prefer it, it's sure to taste like heaven!
