Bolt Head Series - Connectable Hex Nuts

Hex bolts and nuts are common and familiar components in daily life. In the world of modeling, they are used across various genres, from scale models to railways. However, creating extremely small and finely processed nuts for models has proven to be challenging, often not meeting the standards expected by our esteemed customers.

Previously, Adlers Nest offered similar disposable boss-type hex nuts for sale, but due to cost-related issues, they had to discontinue the product. Considering the current rise in raw material costs, Adlers Nest have decided to reintroduce and market their nuts with some modifications.

These hex nuts are designed with the same standards as our Connectable Hex Bolt Heads (nickel silver). The connecting parts are processed with an extremely thin hollow structure, allowing you to easily separate them by simply scoring with a knife and gently twisting. (The connection feels like being held together by a thin 0.05mm membrane.)

When cutting, you can insert any drill or a knife that cuts well into the neck part, score lightly, and rotate the product to cut it. The remaining part can be cut with a knife, lightly filed, or used as a protrusion for insertion, adapting to the user's preferred method.

The width of the connecting part is set at 0.5mm for processing convenience (as it cannot be made too deep due to the hollow structure). Design knives or standard cutter knife blades can be easily used.

Regarding the processing method, we believe users can choose their preferred approach. The method of passing a shaft through is interpreted as an easy processing method that considers both ease of processing and prevention of loss after cutting.

There are three sizes available, adopting the same dimensions as nickel silver hex bolts, allowing for versatile combinations. The shaft on the bolt side and the hole on the nut side have a margin of 0.1mm, making it possible to accommodate minor burrs.

The product comes with 8 pieces of 3-connected nuts, 24 nuts in total. Note these nuts do not have threads and are smooth on the inner side.
