This is a Japanese-language book or magazine about ships and/or ship modeling.

On April 23rd, 2005, the Kure Maritime Museum was opened in Kure, Hiroshima. This Museum is widely known as the Yamato Museum as they have a 1/10 Yamato. However, they are also known for the quality and size of their maritime related archives.

The Pictures in this book were selected from the archives of the Kure Maritime Museum. These pictures were originally taken by the IJN for official record keeping purposes; the quality of the pictures is outstanding! Also the pictures are nice and big, so you do not need a magnifying glass to check the detail.

Mostly the pictures are of cruisers, but pictures of other miscellaneous class ships are also included. You will find very clear pictures of 1st and 2nd class combat transport ships, just to name a few.
