In the 9th installment of the 'Fast & Furious' series, 'F9: The Fast Saga,' a 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS makes its appearance as Letty's beloved vehicle during the car action scenes in the capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi.

The Chevrolet Chevy II, introduced in 1962, is a subcompact car, initially designed as a small-sized family car. The Nova name was used for its higher-grade model. Initially introduced as a family car, the introduction of the SS (Super Sport) sports grade in 1963 and the addition of powerful V8 engines in 1964 aimed to enhance its performance.

The on-screen car is a 3rd-generation Nova introduced in 1968. The in-movie vehicle is inspired by a specification featuring a 427 cu.in. (7-liter) engine and a manual 4-speed gearbox, which was not installed in general retail cars but in some specially ordered cars. The speed and power of this specification are impressively depicted in the movie.
