From the second generation, the 1958 model became a four-seater, and four-door models were available from the fourth and fifth generations, produced between 1967 and 1971.
The Hot Wheels model is inspired by the ninth generation, which transformed from the traditional boxy style to a rounded

aerodynamic form.

This model is not in its normal specification; it has been modified to meet the criteria of the Pro Stock class, which competes in timed events over a 0-1/4 mile (approximately 400m) distance without relying on forced induction (turbochargers or superchargers).

From 1985 to 1987, driver Bob Glidden, who raced this car, was crowned the national winner.
